GameShipKit has an MCP server, so AI assistants such as Claude, Claude Code and Cursor can use some of its tools directly in a chat. Ask for an XP table, launch links or an app-ads.txt file and the assistant calls GameShipKit and gives you the result.
Server address
https://gameshipkit.com/api/mcp
The server uses the Streamable HTTP transport. Free tools work without a key. For Pro tools, add your Pro license key, either as ?key=YOUR_KEY at the end of the address or as an Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY header.
Tools
search_tools (free). Finds the right GameShipKit browser tool for a task and returns the link.
palette (free). Lists and returns game palettes such as PICO-8, Sweetie 16, Endesga 32 and Game Boy, and converts hex codes or GIMP .gpl files.
xp_curve (Pro). Makes a level-up XP table as a table, GDScript, C# or JSON.
store_link (Pro). Builds tracked links for Google Play, the App Store, Steam or a web page, one per traffic source.
app_ads_txt (Pro). Writes an app-ads.txt file for AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, AppLovin or custom networks and warns about common mistakes.
Image tools such as the AI PNG Fixer and the AI Pixel Art Fixer run in your browser on this site. The assistant can find them for you with search_tools.
Connect in Claude
Open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. Use https://gameshipkit.com/api/mcp?key=YOUR_KEY as the URL, or the address without a key for the free tools only.
Connect in Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http gameshipkit https://gameshipkit.com/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"
Connect in Cursor
Add this to .cursor/mcp.json in your project, or to the global MCP settings:
{
"mcpServers": {
"gameshipkit": {
"url": "https://gameshipkit.com/api/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }
}
}
}
Your key and your data
Keep your key private, since anyone with it can use your Pro tools. When a Pro tool is called, the server checks the key with our payment provider Polar and remembers the result for up to an hour. It keeps only a scrambled form of the key, never the key itself. What you send to the tools is used to make the answer and is not stored.
