Every Steam image from one piece of art
Steam asks for the same art in more than a dozen shapes: a wide header, a tiny small capsule for search results, a big main capsule for the front page, a tall vertical capsule for sale pages, a poster for the library, a huge library hero, a transparent logo and images for every event you post. Cropping each one by hand takes an afternoon and is easy to get wrong. Here you drop the key art and logo once. Every size is laid out with sensible framing, and you fine tune any of them by dragging.
Steam's rules, checked for you
Valve keeps capsules eligible for featuring in sales only when they show just the art and the game's name or logo. Award badges, review quotes, discount text and "wishlist now" do not belong on capsules, so this tool only ever places your logo. It also warns you when the logo is too small to read in the small capsule, which Steam shrinks to 120 by 45 pixels in some lists, and shows you that tiny version so you can judge it yourself. The library hero gets no logo at all, since Steam lays your transparent library logo over it, and the centred safe area is marked so the important part of the art is never covered. The page background is darkened so your store text stays readable.
